Rich in esters and spicy according to the perfect Jamaican style, but made smoother, complex and luscious by 10 years of tropical maturation followed by a further period of refinement in Europe. At the nose it’s typically funky, but also with notes of bergamot tea, herbs, nutmeg and cola. At the palate it’s velvety and full of ripe fruits, but still quite on the dry side. It dances between spicy notes of pepper and cinnamon, and a fruity quality, with herbal notes of chamomile.
