A very limited and extremely old rum, from the careful blending of two exquisite vintages (1985 and 1986) from Long Pond distillery with the addition of a barrel of 1977 blended Jamaican. Originally spicy and pungent, but made sweet and caressingly soft by three decades of maturation – including six years of final marriage into a sherry cask previously used for maturation of fine single malt whisky. A rich but delicate rum, that develops its velvety flavours slowly for a perfect evening of relaxation.
