Port Mourant 21yo Sherry Finish

Distilled in a legendary 250-years-old double wooden pot still, renowned for its muscular style, this very limited release showcases the most intense and rich style of all Demerara rums. Very austere, with its tannic and dry intensity, it has a markedly aromatic palette rich of esters, black coffee, liquorice, gentian root and medicinal herbs.

Underneath the dark and musty leathery character, though, flowery notes of lavender and fruity echoes of red cherries still shine, amplified by the final 5 years of maturation in a sherry cask.
