Enmore 25yo

An extremely aromatic rum from a wooden column still, mellowed out by long maturation but muscular and full bodied.

At the nose it has an explosion of funky esters: fermented overripe tropical fruits (bananas, avocados, papaya) and a quizzical note of carpenter’s glue. We then find cola, bergamot, pepper, cinnamon and a touch of old oak. The same fruitiness and spiciness are found at the palate: sweet, chewy, juicy, almost overwhelming in its estery intensity but creamy. There is a note of cereals and flour, before cinnamon and pepper take control.
